In 1610 on New Year's Eve the Countess Bathory of Hungary's castle was raided and she was accused of practicing black magic. She was said to have murdered scores of the local townsfolk. Her accusers walled her up in a room in her castle where she died.
This is my gothB4play mindset after not being able to capture any decent light to photograph my oddities due to the rain, snow and the expanding pond in my back yard today. But the ducks and the Canadian geese seem to just love it.

Yes I did, I created a world within my Lucid Dreams of purple skies and two cold blue planets that illuminate the over sized flowers and under sized trees with a pale magenta lake, and I'll visit as often as I can.
When you know you are dreaming you can change your dream characters at will and sometimes it happens just that way, and your in a Lucid Dream. Other times you just have to ride that dream train to the end because no matter what you see and how surreal it seems your mind refuses to realize that it's just a dream.
Lucidity in my dreams inspires me to create from my subconscious mind that which I cannot see through open eyes.
She's not your ordinary Mrs. Clause this year, her and Santa have had a rough year due to the economy and she's mad as hell. Since the break up Santa has taken the nice and she gets the naughty. Her name this year is the Red Queen of Christmas and you just might get more than a lump of coal from her.

Should Halloween be celebrated on the last Saturday of October to make things easier for school kids, Mommies and Mummies? My little goth girl saying Hi to the Halloween Holiday of October 31st or is she saying bye bye. I personally think it should be celebrated on the last Saturday of each and every month but that's just me. This piece is from my other etsy shop, gothb4play.
At Samhain (October 31) it's the time of farewell to the sunny days and a welcome to time of rest before the world is reborn and once fertile again. A time of reflection and a chance to look back over your life and saying goodbye to those who have passed on. But do not dwell on those who are gone and linger over what could have been too long during this phase when the borders of physical and spiritual realities are vague because what will be is there waiting for us with promise and sunshine. 
Catch a little sun beam in a tiny bottle with crystal beads, polished rocks, blue glass, cobalt bead and an amethyst chip. Hanging from your rear view mirror or from a window and watch the pretty colors as the sun hit them. I used a mixture of sliver paint and clear sealer medium for the inside color and swirled the color first. Then added the amethyst chip for its power in aiding focus and clarity. The other colors were added according to a color psychology chart. There is honeysuckle scent and basil powder added for their protective properties.
Named for one of my nieces who I think has the prettiest name (her initials are the same as her first name). This set is a child in the woods with the spirits of her ancestors watching over her. Some are happy to see her having so much fun but some think she is not spending her time as well as she should.
October is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I just wanted to pass on a little bit of hope, faith and love to all those who are fighting the battle.

"When you're up to your ears in alligators, it's too late to drain the swamp", I just read this one today am I the only person who has never heard of this quote before? It was in a book of inspirational sayings and was probably pretty common in Florida or somewhere alligators are found. In Kansas it would probably relate to cattle or rattlesnakes instead of alligators and something other than a swamp.

Scary Vintage accessories for your Halloween Pleasure on Sale Today, Yes I have slashed the price of this Vintage Straight Razor emblazoned with the words Carbo Magnetic. Every now and then I find an interesting Vintage piece that I am NOT tempted to embellish and reinvent. This is that piece, after seeing Sweeny Todd I don't really want to know what the history of this piece is or where it's been. This piece will be sold as is, I do not intend to cleanse it in any way or remove any stains, tarnish or rust.

Just mix a little turquoise slashes and blots with pink bubbles, then just a touch of flame, and interesting figure and a few black tendrils. This is a collage I created at Polyvore just click on the link above and you can be creating collages in moments. I have a long way to go on learning the in's and out's of collage creating and Polyvore but it's such fun with all the great colors and items to choose from.
I chose the the color pink because it is supposed to signify love, friendship and harmony which should always be above the darkness in one's heart of hearts. The color turquoise is a good color to help one find the logic in situations where sometimes there seems to be no logic and that is why I try to always keep something turquoise near my bed to help me when I dream. The black at the bottom represents that which sends it's tendrils into our heart and being trying to tarnish what we have there with it's darkness and the figure is trying to stay above the darkness.
I always knew there was something special about sneaking away to have an afternoon nap instead of an afternoon tryst. Not only does this boost your brain's learning capacity it saves you from a messy divorce too! Business would reap huge benefits from allowing their employees a two hour lunch which would allow those who wished to take a real nap or a shorter power nap according to their needs. They would come back refreshed, more in control, less angry and energized. Of course those who regularly sneak off for an afternoon drink may have a bit of a problem....getting back to work at all.
