Mystic Maiden Steampunked

She's fierce, she's fabulous and she loves shoes so much she asked for four legs instead of two. She has two porcelain arms and hands and a head wich are stationary but her four legs and two arms and appendages are moveable and can be positioned for photo shoots and posing. Soon to Be

This once loved porcelain doll head, sholders and arms is soon to be reincarnated was aquired recently and I have no idea what she was before or if she ever had legs. She whispers to me late at night while I'm sleeping and her words seep into my dreams but upon waking they fly away like dust from a cloth. I'll keep lkistening though and someday....

Horsey Hair Extensions

A commissioned piece finally finished, with horsey hair extensions and lots of bling most of this horse's time was spent drying as layers of embellishments were added. It stands opon a green wire base with green metal leaves and white fabric flowers and a silvered butterfly.

Mirror Image

Just a poor little angel tossed aside now redyed, repainted and restyled with a new make over and some Christmas hair now ready to be loved again! I sat her in front of a mirror so her winged backside would show up. Her spindley arms move and she has a pretty little face.

Spinning Spells

Give those pesky Spirits a Spirit Rehab, a spiritual respite to distract them from playing those tricks on you like hiding your car keys. The gemstones, shells, mystical elements draw the spirits into the jar keeping them entertained while the incantations do their work to keep them contained and entertained until they decide it is time to pass on to the next plane.

In progression

A horse is a horse of course, a work in progress for a favorite girl. The horse's mane was too short to really di much with so I added horse hair extensions!

Pleasingly punked Junk, once loved and tossed aside for a skinny blonde Barbie now has her revenge! She's styled in her "Vampsace" finest and her attitude is fierce. Everything about her is reincarnated, recycled and reinvented except for the adhesives used to attach her embellishments.

Reincarnated Angel

Once loved, then tossed aside this little Angel is looking to be love once again with a new and fabulous makeover! Hand tinted in a wine color and hand painted eyes and a scattering of flowers make this little Angel a one of a kind find.

Till Death do us part and beyond

Till death do us part and beyond, a beautiful once stark white now a little gothic in muted lavenders and grays. This dancing wedding couple (of unknown age) has been restored, once loved will be loved once again with vintage fabric flowers and hand tinted style. As always all materials and items have been cleansed of any and all lingering negative energies and incantations for positive energy have been enabled.

Christmas fun

Christmas decorating is always such fun, but not as much fun as Halloween! This is another of the wood decorations I'm working with this week. I colored these by hand dying them using wine colored dye and then sprinkling some blue dye on them and spraying with alchol to let the color spread, mix and dry quickly before spreding and blending too much. I like the end result, you get complete coverage in a unique soft brushless distressed pattern.

If you find a once well loved toy with no head... give it a new head and one more chance to be loved again! This duo now newly reincarnated are quite the pair and will always be there for each other. Created using all recycled materials (except for the adhesives) to create a slightly futuristic steampunked look I fondly call Junky Punk. All recycled pieces have been first cleansed of any and all lingering negative energies and incantations for positive energy have been enabled.

Eye Robot Prints

I'm thinking of putting a print of my little Ga Ga Robot in my shop at Etsy for sale, what do you think? Would anyone buy them?? I'm a little obssessed with color and just can NOT make myself take photos with white background. I even joined a team that is named "Non white backgrounds". I think of my backgrounds as abstract paintings and sometimes spend more time arranging them than arranging the item itself in my photo shoots. I hope that's not a bad thing. Sometimes I like to have a little contrast color at the edges like the pale lavendar peeking out from under the pink, yes that was intentional.

Pink Boots

It all started with those crazy pink boots! And maybe just a little too much caffeine keeps me from thinking too long about whether or not I should be keeping this unique thing going. This little Desk jewelry art piece will remind you to make time for a chuckle during your work day wherever that may be.

September Spirit Jar

I am hoping September will be a better month than August was, slow sales, hot days and no good news to be had. I started this month out with a newly created Spirit Jar and also went about cleansing lots of materials I bought in August and just hadn't gotten around to. Now everything should be back in balance, clean, fresh and positive.

Recycle Eye Guy

Every little thing on this Eye Guy is recycled except for the adhesive. His beautiful brown eye is from a doll eye package of two aquired by the dozen at a Salvation Army Thrift store. Everything bought at the Salvation Army goes to help others in need so when I buy I contribute to their cause. The golden base was a bangle bracelet. The shoes belonged to a Bratz doll, hair was crochet yarn, the different types, guages and colored wire were also found at thrift Charity shops. As with all my materials found, bought and aquired I always cleanse them of any and all lingering negative energies they may have picked up in their unknown past life and then I use incantations to attract positive energy and hope they will find a loving home.

Dragonesque

A Dragon but not a dragon, only the head and torso were found while body and tail, hands and feet were lost. Now with wire spring and a shoe this one is now Dragonesque with tattered fabric tail feathers.

I'm a Basket Case! My old computer died and I mourn it's demise still as I sit in front of this new laptop whose tiny keyboard does not fit my hands. It's so sensitive if I barely touch something I never know where on the page I will find myself. My typing speed and accuracy is a thing of the past. If I linger too long on a word the darn thing thinks I want to start the sentance over and it moves back and I find myself typing what I thought was the end of a sentence only to have made it gibberish. Woe is me, I think I'll pull that big key board out and reattach it but ..........

Sorry my laptop has other ideas about maybe dis-attaching me altogether, so I have to go now.

Cyber Skeleton Rider

He's a cool Cyber Skeleton rider of metal and bone wearing silvered biker boots. His vehicle of choice is a vintage sewing machine "Tuck" piece with bobbins for wheels.

Scooter-Bot

She has her little silver scooter with the bright blue wheels, wearing her pretty pink slippers she is ready to be adopted and rescued from my dark storage closet. She wants some fun in her life now that her reincarnation is complete. A lovely cat head placed upon metal robot body and recycled Bratz doll feet and shoes and she loves her new makeover.

Awareness

Your journey starts with only the self and the awareness of that self and it's basic needs. The journey has many twists and turns along the way, puzzles of the heart and pieces that fit while some do not. A crooked road is not a bad road if the end result is being true to yourself and the world Mother Nature has given us.

Blue Mood

I suppose you would call this my "Blue Mood" period, but only because I seem to be drawn toward creating things that have the color blue as the focal color. Another view and a larger photograph which I will use for some artwork I am doing. I am using the print of this and then using some water color to add to the piece making it more of a scenic piece with flowers and swirls. Just an experiment to see if I can handle a brush and some color.

Recycled Avon Jars

I was a beautiful cobalt blue glass Avon salt shaker who lost her pepper partner still with the fragrance inside and never, ever used as a salt shaker. Now I am embellished with silvered jewelry pieces some of unknown ages and past lives. My base is a silvered necklace made from tiny little rounded pieces of metal and I was very expensive in my day and wound my way around the neck of a Lady of taste and elegance but when broken I was tossed aside with no future to look forward to. A little Kokopelli sits upon my top edge who was not treated well but now has a place that is safe and surrounded by friends. The very top blue bubble was a Christmas Ornament of thin glass which was only brought out for December holidays, but now I am in the sunlight daily and love it.

Vehicle Villain

Vehicle villain is made from recycled Singer sewing machine USA made age unknown, buttons, jewelry parts, an amber glass chandelier teardrop and chain arms which are moveable as is the front top part of the vehicle. The face of the driver is a recycled part of a chain belt and there is a heart button near the back.

Crystal Ball Magic

What do you see in your crystal ball or gazing ball? Do you see your future, the future of others in their happiest of times, in love and their fortunes.

Or do you see the past buried in footsteps that trudge through a muddy recollection of what could or should have been but wasn't. Do you gaze at your own heart and mind afraid to move the cobwebs aside almost knowing what lies there but at a crossroads not knowing if you should let it lie or peal at that scab of Pandora's Boxed up fear.

Recycled Robot

I have a chandelier teardrop in my recycled jewelry claw hand and lots of other pieces and parts saved from once loved jewelry pieces. Can a robot be a reincarnated, do metals and glass have a soul? You be the judge.

Dragonfly

I am playing with my digital camera again and some of the color knobs on the photoshop app. The dragonfly is a clear white plastic dragonfly to begin with, I like it better black because you can see the detail better. If I get good enough at this photography thing I'd like to add some photography to my Etsy shop.

Fierce and Fabulous

She knew what she wanted to be and who was I to deny her. We started with her hair and braided it with tiny copper wire and beads and then added bits and pieces of old broken jewelry and tiny fabric flowers. She insisted on a Madonna type bra and a little bit of fancy face painting to complete her look. A base of a broken Shell shaped gold colored brooch and a glass stemmed flower with a glass leaf who's age and past life is unknown makes her the perfect paperweight and she will guard those papers with her very life should you choose to make her yours.
